Frequently asked questions
Do these need to be plugged in?
No. They are fully solar. A small panel charges during the day and the lights turn on by themselves at dusk.
How long do they stay lit at night?
On a full day of direct sun, several hours into the evening. Less direct sun on the panel means shorter runtime.
Are the bulbs glass or plastic?
They are shatterproof plastic molded to look like vintage Edison filament bulbs, so they hold up to wind and handling outdoors.
Can I leave them out in the rain?
Yes. The string and bulbs are weatherproof and designed to stay outside year-round in most climates.
