Does it work on 5GHz WiFi, or only 2.4GHz?
Both. This newer Granary supports 5GHz and 2.4GHz networks, which fixes the connection drops the older 2.4-only PETLIBRO models had on dual-band routers.
Can it dispense wet food or just dry?
Dry food only. The hopper, vane, and bowl are designed for kibble. PETLIBRO's separate Polar feeder is the wet-food option.
What kibble sizes work? My cat eats small pellets.
It handles kibble between 1/8 in. and 1/2 in. wide, which covers nearly all cat foods and small-breed dog kibble. Very tiny pellets can dispense more than the set portion; very large kibble can occasionally jam the vane.
How long does the battery last on a charge?
There is no internal battery. The feeder is plug-in only via the included adapter, so a power outage interrupts the schedule until power returns. Keep it on a UPS if outages are common where you live.
