Already viral on every aesthetic desk-setup feed; cream Marshall is the speaker version of a Knoll table lamp, the design tax buys real audio quality at 4.5 stars.
Pros
- Brass-knob top plate is the same Marshall control surface that made the brand iconic for guitarists, on a speaker
- Outward-angled tweeters create a wider stereo image than competitors at the price point
- Cream colorway disappears into linen and walnut interiors instead of fighting them like the black version
Cons
- Plug-in only, no battery; not the right pick if you want to bring it to the kitchen or backyard
Frequently asked questions
Is the Acton III battery powered?
No. The Acton III is plug-in only. For battery, the Emberton II is Marshall's portable equivalent.
Can I pair two for stereo?
Yes. Two Acton IIIs paired in the Marshall Bluetooth app run a true left-right stereo configuration.
Does it have voice assistant support?
No built-in Alexa or Google. It is Bluetooth and aux only. Voice control routes through whatever phone is connected.
What is the difference between Cream and the Black colorway?
Same speaker internals. Cream uses a fabric-textured cream grille and brass knobs; Black uses the classic black tolex finish. Cream is harder to keep fingerprint-free on the knobs.
