Frequently asked questions
Will this fit a 6 ft 2 in lifter?
Tight. The backpad is shorter than a full commercial bench, around 42 in long, so the very tall reviewers consistently report their head hanging slightly off the end on flat presses. It is workable but not ideal at that height.
Does it fold for storage?
Yes. Pull a single locking pin and the bench collapses flat. There is a built-in carry handle so you can lift it and stand it against a wall.
Is it actually rated to over 800 lb?
Yes, the listing is ASTM-certified to 827 lb capacity. That is well above what most home lifters need for a flat or incline press.
How much assembly is required?
Very little. It ships 98 percent pre-assembled. Most owners just attach the legs or footpad and they are ready to use it.
