Frequently asked questions
How comfortable is it for a long sit?
Better than expected for the weight. The seat is roughly 14 inches off the ground (real chair height) and the back panel supports up to about the shoulder blades. Good for a 1 to 2 hour campfire sit.
Does it tip over on uneven ground?
Four-leg design is more stable than tripod camp chairs. On flat dirt or gravel it's rock solid. On loose sand the legs sink unless you use small flat rocks as feet.
How small does it pack?
11 inches long, about the size of a tall water bottle, in the included stuff sack.
Is the fabric strong enough for repeated use?
Ripstop polyester rated for 265 lbs. Long-term reviewers report 2 to 3 years of regular weekend-camping use before any wear.
