Frequently asked questions
Is this the full pair or just one dumbbell?
Stage 1 Elite EXP is sold as a pair. The listing shows one dumbbell in some photos because the unit is the photogenic angle, but you receive two.
How much weight does Stage 1 cover?
5 lb to 50 lb per dumbbell, in 2.5 lb increments using a smaller adder block. Stage 2 and Stage 3 expansion kits sold separately take you to 70 lb and 90 lb per hand.
How does the weight selection work?
You slide a magnetic pin into the numbered position on the side of the block, then lift only the corresponding weight out of the cradle. The unselected plates stay locked in the cradle.
Will these fit on a flat bench for chest press?
Yes. The rectangular profile is narrower than Bowflex 552 dumbbells at any equivalent weight, which is why home-gym communities prefer PowerBlock for bench work.
