Cons
- Loud during base-station cycles (mop washing especially), not the robovac to schedule while you're on a Zoom call in the next room
Frequently asked questions
Will it actually lift the mops on carpet, or do I still have to lock out rooms?
The mop pads auto-lift 12mm when the X10 detects carpet, so for area rugs and low-pile carpet it transitions cleanly without wetting them. For thick high-pile rugs or shaggy carpet, set them as no-mop zones in the eufy app to be safe.
How often do I have to do anything with it?
Empty the dust bag in the base station roughly every 7 weeks (it self-empties after each cleaning). Refill the clean-water tank and dump the dirty-water tank every 3–7 cleanings depending on how much mopping you schedule.
Does it work in homes with multiple floors?
Yes, it can save up to multiple maps for different floors, but you'll need to manually carry it between floors (no auto-elevator). The base station stays on whichever floor you set it up on.
Is it noisy?
The vacuum itself runs around 60–65 dB on standard mode (similar to a quiet conversation). The Omni base is louder during the mop wash + dry cycles, closer to a hair dryer at 70+ dB for a few minutes per cycle.
