The Drinkmate OmniFizz is a countertop carbonation system that fizzes water, juice, iced tea, cocktails, even cold-brew coffee, anything liquid except hot drinks. The Fizz Infuser cap snaps onto the included BPA-free bottle, a manual press dispenses a CO2 shot, and the patented release valve vents pressure cleanly without spraying. No batteries, no plug, no app, just a 60L CO2 cylinder (sold separately) that threads in the back. Best fit: home-bar setups that want sparkling cocktails and sodas w
Pros
- Carbonates any drink including juice, iced tea, wine, and cold brew, not just water
- Needs no electricity, batteries, or app, lives anywhere on the counter
- Fizz Infuser releases pressure cleanly without the over-spray most carbonators dump on the lid
- Matte black finish reads aesthetic on cream marble and butcher block instead of looking like an appliance
Cons
- CO2 cylinder is sold separately, expect to budget another $30 to $40 for your first 60L tank
Frequently asked questions
Does the OmniFizz work without electricity?
Yes. There are no batteries, no plug, no app. The CO2 cylinder threads into the back and you press a manual lever to release carbonation, so it can live on a bar cart or counter that has no outlet.
Can it really carbonate juice, wine, and cocktails, not just water?
Yes. The Fizz Infuser cap and patented pressure-release valve are specifically designed for sugary, pulpy, or alcoholic liquids that would normally explode out of a standard SodaStream-style head. Avoid hot liquids.
What CO2 cylinder does it use, and are they easy to find?
Standard 60L threaded CO2 cylinders, the same format SodaStream and Aarke use. You can buy them at Target, Bed Bath, Williams Sonoma, or by mail exchange. Cylinder is not included with the OmniFizz.
How long does a 60L cylinder last in normal use?
A 60L cylinder makes roughly 60 liters of standard seltzer. Heavier carbonation (cocktails, double-pressed juice) burns through faster, so plan on 40 to 50 liters of fizzy output per tank in real-world use.
Is the carbonation bottle dishwasher safe?
No. The carbonation bottle and Fizz Infuser cap are hand-wash only. Heat from a dishwasher can warp the pressure seal and cause leaks.
