ChooMee SoftSip Tops are reusable silicone caps that screw onto any standard baby food pouch and turn it into a no-spill, self-feeding cup for babies starting solids and toddlers learning independence. The patented flow-control valve only releases food when the baby actively sucks, which solves the squeeze-and-explode problem that wastes half a pouch on the high chair tray. The soft chewy mouthpiece protects new teeth and tender gums, and the silicone is BPA, PVC, lead, and phthalate free. Dishw
Pros
- Patented flow-control valve only releases food when the baby actively sucks, so squeezing fingers no longer launch puree onto the tray
- Soft chewy mouthpiece is gentle on new teeth and tender gums, unlike the hard plastic tip of a bare pouch
- Fits all major standard baby food pouch brands, no proprietary refills required
- Reusable and dishwasher safe, replaces dozens of disposable spouts per kid
Cons
- Does not fit non-standard or oversized pouches (some yogurt and applesauce brands), so check the pouch neck before assuming compatibility
Frequently asked questions
Do these fit all baby food pouches?
They fit the vast majority of standard food pouch brands (Plum, Once Upon a Farm, Happy Baby, Sprout, Beech-Nut, etc.). Some yogurt or applesauce squeeze pouches use a wider neck and will not screw on cleanly. The threaded ring is sized to the most common spout.
What age is this for?
Most parents start using them around 6 to 9 months when babies start practicing self-feeding with pouches, and they stay useful through toddlerhood. The chewy silicone tip is gentle on emerging teeth.
Are they dishwasher safe?
Yes. Top-rack dishwasher safe. They are also boilable for a deeper sterilization if needed. The 100% food-grade silicone does not retain odors or stain from puree.
Will my baby get frustrated by the slower flow?
Some babies need a session or two to learn the suck-to-release pattern. Once they figure it out, the slower flow is the whole point: less food on their face, the high chair, and you.
