The TACAHE halo projector floor lamp is a 73 inch chrome-finished metal lamp with five bendable arms, each carrying a 2.5 watt LED behind a glass lens that focuses light into a sharp ring on whatever surface it faces. Total output is around 1200 lumens at 4000K daylight white, and swappable RGB color filters let you shift the projected rings without changing bulbs. Every head bends independently, so you can point some at the ceiling and some at a wall for a layered effect. A seven pound iron base keeps it stable and a foot switch handles on and off. Best fit: a reading corner, a bedroom, or a streaming background that needs one statement piece instead of three small lamps.
Pros
- Five independently bendable heads let you aim halos at the ceiling and wall at the same time
- Swappable RGB filters change the color without buying new bulbs
- Foot switch and a heavy iron base, so you are not reaching behind furniture or knocking it over
Cons
- 1200 lumens spread across five heads is ambient light, not enough on its own to light a whole room for reading
Frequently asked questions
How bright is it as a main light?
About 1200 lumens total across five heads. That is ambient and accent lighting. You will still want a task lamp for reading.
Can I change the color?
Yes. It ships with replaceable RGB glass filters that slot in front of the 4000K white LEDs to tint the projected halos.
How tall is it and how stable?
73 inches tall on a seven pound round iron base. The weight is there specifically to keep it from tipping.
Are the arms actually adjustable?
Yes. Each of the five heads bends and holds position, so you can aim them independently at walls or the ceiling.
